At the core of Zaparas Lawyers is the Zaparas Family. Each of the family’s five members are lawyers

passionately practicing personal injury law.

For 30 years Peter Zaparas has practiced out of Oakleigh, having to date represented over 24,000 injured plaintiffs with an

extremely high rate of success.  With such experience comes a deep knowledge of the

law and its ability to protect the rights of injured individuals.

Peter’s reputation precedes him within the legal community. He is very highly regarded amongst his

fellow Plaintiff lawyers and importantly his opponents with both Worksafe and the TAC.

Peter is today joined by his wife Lia and their children, together with a team of passionate and

hardworking solicitors, trainees and support staff, striving to achieve the best results.

About five years ago Yianni Zaparas joined the firm quickly becoming popular amongst all clients and

has energetically and passionately pursued the rights of injured workers since. Yianni is a tireless and caring

lawyer and an expert in all matters relevant to Workers Compensation law.

After spending his first five years practicing within elite commercial law firms

Paul Zaparas joined the family firm and brought with him a precise, intelligent and thorough approach to

all issues concerning personal injury law.

Together with their father, Yianni and Paul work hard to protect the rights of injured workers to:

Zoe Zaparas, along with Peter has focussed on pursuing the rights of people injured in Motor Vehicle Accidents, an area

which in recent times has been growing within the firm. Such growth is not only

attributable to Zoe’s legal ability but also her charismatic and magnetic personality. Zoe also fights for

the rights of those injured in slips and trips (Public Liability).

Lia Zaparas, heads the superannuation insurance area of the firm. A large proportion of superannuation

funds provide for Death and Disability Insurance Benefits, which if pursued correctly can afford totally

and permanently individuals considerable benefits.

Although based in OAKLEIGH, Zaparas Lawyers assist clients from all around Melbourne and regional Victoria. Many of its clients in fact reside within the Northern and Western suburbs.
