Rebekah is a WorkCover lawyer in our Cranbourne office

Rebekah commenced her law degree at the University of Waikato in New Zealand, before relocating to Melbourne in 2014 where she obtained her Bachelor of Laws from Monash University. Rebekah was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Victoria in September 2018.

While studying at Monash University, Rebekah volunteered at a community legal centre for over two years where she provided legal advice to members of the community and also acted as a mentor to other law student volunteers. It was while volunteering that Rebekah began to sense the responsibility which she believes comes with being a lawyer - to ensure every person has access to justice and someone who will advocate for them when they need it most.

After completing her studies, Rebekah continued to work as a lawyer assisting victims of violent crime to obtain financial and practical assistance from the Victims of Crime Assistance Tribunal.

As a WorkCover lawyer at Zaparas Lawyers, Rebekah feels fortunate to advocate for clients who are not only faced with the challenges of living with an injury, but who are also faced with navigating a complex legal system. It is her philosophy of providing access to justice combined with compassion and empathy that are central to Rebekah’s practice as a WorkCover lawyer and motivates her to obtain excellent results for her clients.
